HAPPY EASTER

So it's been more than a year since i wrote in here. And it's Easter right now.

Just wanted to say...I went to the Easter Vigil mass last night and it was cool...and long. haha. We got there late and the whole church was packed so we had to go in the back social hall thing where they had a projector projecting the whole mass. So you know how easter vigil is really long? There's like 7 readings and seven responsorial psalms and seven prayers...and then one more reading and then the gospel. Well anyways, it started at 8...so as the readings went by...more people left. So later during the mass we went into the main church and sat in an empty pew haha. Anyways...best part of the night of was the closing song. It was half spanish and half english...the mass was bilingual cause our parish has a lot of latinos. anyways...closing song. sounded like this mexican fight victory song. it was awesome. and during the song there were people shouting...like "whoo!" and stuff...and everyone was rejoicing and clapping. it sounded and felt like we just got out of battle victorious.

Those moments of excitement and victory are awesome. Just wanted to share that with you...aka. the 2 people that might read this haha

I never go on xanga...but i check it out every once in a while and read people's blogs. Oh and i uploaded a new profile pic...with the great John Yumul. Just so that everyone knows that I got to have a picture with one of the great heroes in YFC history. hahaha.
Anyways. Yvette blogged today. Go check it out. It made me write one. haha later. Happy Easter

So i guess it's time for me to write stuff on here. it's been awhile.

So how am i doing you might ask?? haha well i guess it feels pretty good. It's the feeling after you've been working for a really long time and you just go home and sit down and put your feet up and stretch out and just lay there for hours. it's that kind of good feeling. it's great. but too bad it doesn't last long cause there's always more and more stuff to do!
So yea...WOWGK...WOW it's finally freakin over! hahaha it was great. I got to choreograph a dance with darick hahaha just ask john yumul...That was also the first time i danced like that in years i think. it was cool being on stage and dancing and stuff but uhhh not for me haha...i guess the last segment was the most fun and also let's get it started that was ok...it was really fun walking around the stage with a newspaper haha.
But yeaa also being assistant stage manager was cool too...too bad i didn't get the headset for a long time. that was still fun though!
Ok so that was that...long day...got home and passed out and slept like a baby for uhhh 6 hours...then came here to work then school and it starts all over again hahahaha!

So yeaa the other big thing this weekend was the first north cluster youth camp! i didn't wasn't there for most of the weekend...but man did i get worried at times. all in all despite all that...the camp turned out well and we welcomed 11 new cfc youth members. i'm pretty proud of all those people that were on the service team. i know you guys learned a lot. now you know what to do for next time! well...we'll talk about that more later guys.

So yeaa those 2 events have pretty much packed my schedule for the past few weeks. it's been busy! but it's been great! These two events have definitely reminded me about some things that i've forgot and taken for granted recently!

ohh yeaa so now it's time to catch up on school work...ehhh i got a midterm today in econ! ah man ok ok pray for me...got to do some last minute studying! alright God bless

Going to leave you with some lyrics from Copeland....just listened to the song today and i was like oh this sounds cool haha some of the lyrics are kinda uhh weird? but no this song is cool. download it.

"Love Is A Fast Song"

You don't have to be ashamed
'Cause you're a miracle through and through
Oh, and you don't have to be ashamed
Of the miracle inside of you

What has love become?
(What has love become?)
It's not like we used to hear in those old songs
And it's not like yours
(And it's not like yours)
What has love become?

Whoa...your love is in motion
And it's spinning me around, yeah
Whoa...my heart is in motion
For the movement that's in you

You should not be angry
If all she wants is your money
Oh, you should not be angry
'Cause all you want is her body

What has love become?
(What has love become?)
It's not like we used to hear in those old songs
And it's not like yours
(And it's not like yours)
What has love become?

Whoa...your love is a fast song
And I'm dancing 'cause I'm loved again
Whoa...my heart is in motion
For the rhythm inside you
Whoa...your love is a slow song
It's resounding through my world again
Whoa...my heart is in motion
For the song inside of you

Whoa...your love is in motion
And it's spinning me around, yeah
Whoa...your love is a fast song
And I'm dancing 'cause I'm loved again
Whoa...your love is a slow song
It's resounding through my world again
Whoa...my heart is in motion
For the song inside of you

My weekend was...awesome.
Mission trips are...awesome
New CFC youth members...awesome.
Seeing the parents cry when it's their alone time...awesome
Having the support from the WHOLE diocese of Yakima...awesome
Seeing how awesome God is over and over again...it's the best man...the best

Anyways.
If you didn't know, a new area in Washington state was opened up this past weekend. To be exact the camp was held in Toppenish, Washington, at an RV Park in the Indian Reservation. The whole youth camp was held outdoors. We all slept in teepees. Saturday night we were all huddled around a campfire playing games and making s'mores.

so that's the deal. Mixed service team...Western Washington, Eastern Washington, Oregon. cool.
